On Wednesday 26 November 2008 the Information Commissioner’s Office will be hosting the ‘Privacy by Design’ conference at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. The centrepiece of this free conference will be the publication of an ICO commissioned report promoting the concept of privacy by design.The report has been commissioned from the Enterprise Privacy Group and will explore the barriers to widespread uptake of privacy enhancing technologies and the means of designing privacy protection into plans and projects. It will also look at some of the solutions available and recommend what can be done to improve the level of engagement in this area.For more information, click here.
