How we can help

Under the Data Protection Act, your school or university must give you access to information that is held about you. If they don’t, we may be able to help.

Access to information about you

Before contacting us, you should have written to your school or university to get access to the information held about you.

If you don’t receive the information you asked for, or if you don’t get a response within 40 days, we may be able to help. Call the Information Commissioner's Office on 08456 30 60 60.
